The Cross Family Are At It Again !!!!

They just keep giving !! This time, Ellie Cross, decided to jump out of a plane in aid of Sophia. Bearing in mind that Ellie is only 16, this was a pretty brave challenge to undertake and possibly even braver for her parents, Paula & Loz, to support her. Mind you, Loz is a Parachute Jump Instructor in the RAF, so she couldn't be in safer hands.

We all headed down to the London Parachute School near Benson on Saturday the 10th of August to support Ellie and she LOVED it !! Check out the link at the bottom for proof.

We've just heard that Ellie raised a huge £500 for Sophia. Thank you so much to Ellie and all the Cross family. Love Sophia, Andy &Tara  x x x

£1520 !!!!!

That was the amazing total raised for Sophia by Auntie Emma !!

Auntie Emma hosted a "Girls' Night In For Sophia" at her house in Glasgow, raising £567 and then nearly trebled the total with a fantastic raffle. With the help of family and friends, she worked tirelessly organising the event, collecting raffle prizes and selling tickets. Thanks to everyone who supported and helped, especially Nana Eleanor x
Here's Sophia's favourite photo of her Auntie !!

Our Local Schools

While we were away having a break, the kids in our local schools certainly weren't !!
Over the last few weeks of term, there has been a wave of fundraising all over Oxfordshire. Carterton Community College started the ball rolling with a non-uniform day raising a brilliant £445.63. Church Cowley St James CE Primary then had there own  non-uniform day and cake sale, also raising over £400 !! Two days later Clanfield CE Primary had a non-uniform day, total raised to be confirmed. Another school, Burford Primary raised a fantastic £81 from cake and t-shirt sales. And finally, Brize Norton Primary took part in a sponsored walk, covering 290 miles and raising a mind-boggling £1377.62 !!!
We can not thank the organisers, teachers, parents and especially the amazing children of all of these schools enough. xxx
